We all know how small a room can feel especially while sharing a room, whether it is in a hostel or a student home. we will be sharing with you our top tips on de-cluttering and organizing your room!
Our 4th organisation tip: get rid of those old clothes!
Definitely easier said than done for most of us, but de-cluttering your wardrobe and throwing away, selling or donating clothes you no longer wear can be verrrrry cleansing. You may even be able to earn some money from selling items that are in good condition!
Tip 3: Purchase or make your own drawer dividers.
It’s easy to get your drawers very messy, meaning that you’ll probably never find that shirt that’s been missing for months! Using drawer dividers will make it easier to keep your belongings in the right place.
Tip 2- Make your bed EVERY morning, yes, even on the weekends.
Making your bed will immediately make your room seem tidier and more organised. If you do it first thing in the morning, you’re setting the tone for the rest of the day!
Our first tip is to keep your workspace tidy! Your workspace definitely affects how well you focus on your work, having a tidy environment means a tidy mind (in theory). Think pencil holders, filing systems & cable management!
